Most companies don't fail in Washington because they're wrong. They fail because they never reach the person who can say yes. That's what I fix.
APL Consulting is a boutique relationship broker. I connect companies and individuals to a specific layer of Washington most can't reach on their own: the operators, senior staffers, and decision-makers who actually move things forward.
Most of my career has been spent in political consulting. Earlier on, I served as Chief of Staff in the Virginia General Assembly and chaired the Republican Party in Virginia's 8th Congressional District. I'm the strategist that candidates, campaigns, independent expenditure groups, and party committees turn to when they're building a plan to win. That work is where these relationships were forged, and it's why my read on Washington stays current, not historical.
A growing part of my work runs through artificial intelligence policy, where Washington's choices will shape the next decade. I advise the board of the National Artificial Intelligence Association (NAIA), where we push for policy that keeps America dominant in the space, and I chair its AI Data Center Policy Committee. It puts me at the center of one of the most consequential issues in the country, and connected to the people driving it.
I work where the private sector, government, and politics meet, three worlds that don't always know how to talk to each other. Bridging them takes more than a contact list: fifteen years of relationships, and knowing exactly who belongs in the room.
